Last May by KieranJones Sound familiar? That's because I've posted like three different versions of this now. Hopefully, this is the last. I wrote this song in early 2010 in one night, except for the middle verse which was written in September of that year. I always envisioned this as either a country track or a pop track, so I settled for a mix of both with harmonica, cheesy backing vocals and, um, scat singing. It's quite heavily inspired by Bob Dylan- particularly the harmonica playing style, which I define as "play ALL the notes!" Kieran |
